Apply for a Grant from the Davidson Youth Scholarship Fund
The Davidson Youth Scholarship Fund is named for Ellen Davidson, a beloved past president of our community who was a fierce advocate for the support of our youth. The fund provides congregants’ children the opportunity to attend meaningful educational, cultural, and social programs that will deepen their connection to their Jewish heritage. The fund accomplishes this by providing financial grants to eligible applicants.
The Davidson Youth Scholarship Fund is powered by Brotherhood. For decades, the fund has been the primary recipient of Brotherhood’s fundraising efforts. In this way, Brotherhood demonstrates their commitment to supporting our young people.
Awards are granted on a rolling basis. Final applications for the year should be received by December 15.
The Youth Scholarship Fund is a vital part of our temple community’s legacy. We encourage all congregants to contribute to the fund either by participating in Brotherhood-sponsored events that benefit the fund or by donating to the fund. In this manner, we can all support our youths’ interest in their Jewish heritage. Donations to the Youth Scholarship Fund are tax deductible.
