Partnering with Other Faith Traditions

“You shall love the stranger, for you were once strangers in the land of Egypt.” — Deuteronomy 10:19

We believe that God is greater than any one religious tradition or faith, and that faith traditions collectively point toward the higher truths. In an increasingly secular world, where the value to human life is not always apparent, we must bring together the collective voice of faith to do right, to do justly, and to pursue mercy.

Rabbi Gluck and Temple Beth-El have taken the lead in a variety of advocacy and educational programs with as many as ten other religious faiths. From peace vigils to environmental programs, from candidate forums to lobbying elected officials, this sacred work is made even more powerful when we link our voices and join our hands with other faith communities to help America stay true to its values.
