Youth Engagement

“And the Youth Shall Dream Dreams…”

Young people are the future of the Jewish people. At Temple Beth-El, it is our goal to launch our youth into the world as young adults ready to experience life with a Jewish heart and Jewish eyes. Jewish identity formation comes not only through formal religious education but also informally through youth programming.

Under the leadership of Michael Einiger, our Youth and Community Engagement Associate, and the teen leaders of SMOOCHY, our senior youth group, children from third grade on up have regular opportunities to come together to form friendships with their temple peers and grow their Jewish identity. Events may take the form of pure fun, but let there be no doubt that important Jewish values are being learned.
