CONSTITUTION
OF
TEMPLE BETH-EL

ARTICLE I

SECTION I. NAME. This Congregation shall be known as TEMPLE BETH-EL.

SECTION II. OBJECT AND PURPOSE. The purpose of the Congregation is to establish a sacred community by enabling all associated with the Congregation to develop a relationship with God and with each other through communal worship, study and assembly; by promoting the fundamental principles of Judaism; by ensuring the continuity of the Jewish people; and by exemplifying the principles and values of Reform Judaism within ourselves and within our families. We seek such a sacred community to ennoble ourselves and the society in which we live. In meeting these objectives and purposes, Temple Beth-El will be a member in good standing of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ).
