Please join us as we honor Donna Tischfield, this year’s Woman of Valor. Donna is the woman behind Sisterhood’s gift shop for many years. Her hard work and dedication will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19 in the kitchen social hall. The evening will include a catered dinner, wine, beverages and dessert. The event is free for paid-up Sisterhood members.
Sisterhood will continue the Woman of Valor celebration on Friday, Dec. 22, by sponsoring an oneg in Donna’s honor immediately following Erev Shabbat services. Email Fern Jurgrau and Karen Kaplan at SisterhoodWOV@templebethelnj.org by December 12 to reserve your seat at the dinner or that you can help with the oneg.
And as is Sisterhood’s custom, donations for Safe+Sound will be collected at the dinner and matched by Sisterhood. Safe+Sound Somerset is the only organization in Somerset County providing comprehensive services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
