Shabbat Neshamah — a Service of Contemplation
Shabbat Nachamu — Shabbat of Comfort
with Cantor Wallach, joined by Liz and Dave Cohen
Friday Evening at 7:00 p.m.
NOTE: This service will be held in the Library due to a program in the social halls.
This Shabbat Neshama service, with focus on contemplative prayers and light meditation, is especially needed in this week of crisis in Israel coupled with the mourning and remembrance of Tisha b’Av.
And so we will gather in our service for Shabbat Nachamu, Shabbat of Comfort. Through prayer, song, and meditation we will come together to find comfort and hope. Please join us this Shabbat, as we have so often gathered in times of communal need. After the service we will take time to talk together about our reactions and feelings in facing this challenging time for K’lal Yisrael.
