The music of the Jewish calendar endows each season of the year with a unique sound texture. The Yamin Nora’im, Days of Awe, are replete with their own melodic signatures and traditional melodies that evoke powerful sense memories and emotion. Join Cantor Wallach in exploring the historic Ashkenazi chant patterns of the High Holy days, as well as melodies and songs that are commonly heard at this time of year. We will sing together or individually as online gathering allows, and share samples of this beautiful, inspiring music.
