Due to the COVID crisis, Temple Beth-El is unable to host the HOME of Somerset County (formerly IHN) Emergency Housing at our building. Instead, HOME has arranged for their clients to stay at a nearby hotel. Hosting congregations have been asked to provide meals for their hosting week. TBE’s next “hosting” week is August 1 to August 8.
Click here to sign up to bring a dinner. Dinners can be dropped off at the HOME offices (98 West End Avenue, Somerville) up until 4:00 each day.
HOME is also taking monetary donations to help off-set the cost of the hotel. And, as always, they can use supplies, such as toiletries, baby care products, or household items. Visit the HOME website for more.
