We are pleased to welcome Dr. Betsy Stone back to Temple Beth-El to share her insights about the impact of crisis and trauma on individuals and communities. Her presentation, “Creating the Next Normal,” will address what we can learn from this year of fear, loss, and disruption, and how we — as individuals, in community, as a society — can begin to repair ourselves. We’ll explore growth after trauma, how we can tell our stories, and what we can do for ourselves and our temple community as we look ahead to coming back together.
There will be time for Q & A after the presentation, so please feel free to bring whatever questions or concerns you may have to the table.

Dr. Betsy Stone is a Yale-educated psychologist and retired clinical psychologist, with experience teaching in synagogue schools, at Hebrew Union College since 2002, and facilitating groups of educators, rabbis, and parents in Jewish communities throughout the U.S.
