The Temple Beth-El Brotherhood and the Food Drive team are seeking volunteers to participate in a Community Harvest event with America’s Grow-a-Row. America’s Grow-a-Row’s mission is to positively impact as many lives as possible through a volunteer effort of planting, picking, rescuing, and delivering free fresh produce.
Join fellow TBE volunteers and those from other communities to help harvest fresh, healthy produce for those in need in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and several other states. As demand is skyrocketing at food banks due to many people experiencing food insecurity for the first time, our work to provide farm fresh produce for healthy living and strong immunity for our neighbors in need is more important than ever! Don’t miss this opportunity to give back.
Registration is required. Please email Jeff Rubin at CommunityHarvest@templebethelnj.org with which of the three dates you can help and the ages of people in your party. This is a great family event.
Dates and times: Thursdays:
September 7, 5:00-7:00 p.m.
October 5, 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Location: The events will be at either the Pittstown or Milford Grow-a-Row farms in Hunterdon County NJ. The specific location will be communicated a week beforehand.
