On the night of February 12, seven adults and five children ranging in age from two years old to high school fled Aleppo, Syria, and crossed the Lebanese border in the middle of the night. The next day they met with the American Embassy and days later, after a harrowing journey, they arrived in Hillsborough, and into the waiting arms of Temple Beth-El’s refugee resettlement team.
Help us greet these new neighbors and listen to their story at a breakfast hosted by Brotherhood. Understanding the challenges faced by the refugees will help us better support them as they transition to a new life in America.
