Four sessions: November 7, 28, & December 5
For the last 2,000 years the most dynamic space in Jewish communal life has been the beit midrash, the House of Learning. It is there that Jews have joined together to search for meaning and spiritual sustenance. It is there that our people have met to join in lively debate and discussion of our sacred texts to find answers to the great questions and address significant challenges in their lives.
Over the years, Rabbi Gluck invited TBE’s adult learners to create our own beit midrash that has explored a wide range of sacred texts and topics. This year, Rabbi Gluck will begin with several texts that he touched upon during Rosh Hashanah. For the subsequent three sessions, participants are invited to request topics or texts they would like us to explore. Please send these requests to Rabbi Gluck ASAP (rabbigluck@templebethelnj.org)
