Join us in reading our next book, The Sleep of Apples by Ami Sands Brodoff, a member of our very own TBE community.
Ami Sands Brodoff is the award-winning author of three novels and two volumes of stories. The Sleep of Apples, her newest book, is a novel in stories, of nine, closely-linked characters who confront crises related to mental health and illness, the art of dying well, and gender identity. Readers get to witness the characters gaining strength, insight, and empathy through their struggles and suffering. They each bear the scars of trauma, but possess the gift of resilience.
Ami will join us in a book discussion and author chat about her latest work and her writing process. This will take place in-person in the TBE library. A Zoom link will also be made available for those who wish to attend remotely. RSVP to Debbie Herman.
