To help our congregants prepare to vote in the upcoming November election, Temple Beth-El will be hosting a nonpartisan virtual Candidates Forum with the candidates for the New Jersey State Senate and Assembly for the 16th Legislative District (covering parts of Somerset, Mercer, Middlesex, and Hunterdon counties, including Hillsborough).

The candidates will share why they are running for office, reflect on issues of interest to Reform Jews, and address questions from the audience.

Temple Beth-El is a member of the nonpartisan New Jersey Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism (RAC-NJ). This forum is jointly sponsored by RAC-NJ and is part of a statewide Double Your Impact campaign to engage and turn out voters in the coming election. An important step is to ensure that congregations know our State Senate and Assembly candidates.

Don’t miss this opportunity. Register today! To attend, register here: www.tinyurl.com/TBECandidateForum2021

The candidates participating are:

State Senate: Michael Pappas (R), Andrew Zwicker (D)
State Assembly: Roy Freiman (D), Sadaf Jaffer (D), Joseph Lukac III (R), Vincent Panico (R)
