BeAware: Introduction to Situational Awareness Training
Wednesday, July 6, 1:00 p.m. (Register)
Learn how to recognize suspicious or potentially dangerous behavior and threats, and what to do. Designed for every member of the community, no background in security is required. The course will cover the basics of situational awareness and how to help protect yourself, your family, and your community.

Countering an Active Threat Training (CATT)
Wednesday, July 13, 1:00 p.m. (Register)
A comprehensive training program developed for houses of worship. The course will cover steps to take during an active threat event.

Stop the Bleed
Wednesday, July 20, 1:00 p.m. (Register)
This training provides community members with the skills of how to prevent loss of life through applying emergency first aid.

Active Shooter Awareness
August 22-23, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in person (RSVP)
In-person; Offered by the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office and the Shimon and Sarah Birnbaum JCC.
This training provides both classroom and practical experience in prevention, preparation and response to active threats.
