Active Shooter Awareness for Religious & Community Leaders In-Person at the Bridgewater JCC

Active Shooter Awareness for Religious & Community Leaders is a two-day training event sponsored by the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, the Jewish Federation of West Central NJ, and the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum JCC. The program is designed to help participants learn to recognize indicators of potential violence, actions to take to prevent and prepare for potential active shooter incidents and when confronted by an active shooter, what to expect from responding law enforcement officials, how to manage the consequences of an active shooter incident, and classroom and practical exercises.
