Celebrate Shabbat and Israel at our annual Israel Shabbat dinner and service. May 10, 6:30 p.m. for dinner; 8:00 p.m. for Shabbat Services
Have you ever experienced an Israeli-style Shabbat dinner? Have you been looking for an opportunity to sample a local Mediterranean restaurant? Or, have you been wanting to try your hand at one of the many delicious recipes from popular Israeli cookbooks like “Zahav,” or “Jerusalem?”
On Friday, May 11 you will have your chance to join your community for a pot-luck Israeli-themed dinner at 6:30 p.m. It is your choice whether you want to cook a dish or pick up one! Let us know what you’re bringing when you RSVP. Click here for recipe suggestions and a list of local restaurants. Our intrepid 4-H team will be making falafel!
We will continue the celebration of Israel Independence with some singing at the dinner followed our Erev Shabbat Service at 8:00 p.m!
