Rabbi Rich Kirschen received his rabbinic ordination from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Prior to making aliyah, he served as the executive director of the Hillel Foundation at Brown University and associate director of the University of Michigan Hillel. In Israel, he was the director of NFTY in Israel and Kesher Birthright programs for the Union for Reform Judaism, bringing thousands of teens to Israel every year. He is currently pursuing studies at Machon Shinui-The Israel Institute for Family Therapy.
