As part of our year-long celebration honoring Rabbi Arnie Gluck, Rabbi Jonah Pesner will join us for Erev Shabbat services as a guest darshan.

Rabbi Jonah Dov Pesner is the director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism and senior vice president of the Union for Reform Judaism. Newsweek magazine has named him one of the most influential rabbis in America.

Rabbi Pesner’s work focuses on encouraging Jewish communities to reach across lines of race, class, and faith. A tireless advocate for justice, he has led and supported campaigns for racial justice, interfaith outreach, economic opportunity, immigration reform, LGBTQ+ equality, human rights, and more. He serves on the boards of the NAACP, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the National Religious Partnership for the Environment, and the New England Center for Children. He is also a member of the Faith-Based Security Advisory Council for the Department of Homeland Security.

Rabbi Pesner is a widely published author and speaks regularly on college campuses and in interfaith and secular venues worldwide. He received his rabbinic ordination at Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion.
