As part of our year-long celebration honoring Rabbi Arnie Gluck, Rabbi Charles Kroloff will join us for Erev Shabbat services as a guest darshan.

Rabbi Charles Kroloff is rabbi emeritus at Temple Emanu-El in Westfield, New Jersey, where he guided the congregation for nearly four decades. Last year, Rabbi Kroloff published Open Up Our Eyes: Moments That Shape Our Lives, a book that inspires readers to find purpose and joy by reflecting on the special and not-so-special moments in their lives.

Rabbi Kroloff served as past president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis and the Association of Reform Zionists of America. He was a member of the governing boards of the Jewish Agency, Hebrew Union College, and the Union for Reform Judaism. Rabbi Kroloff also founded the Interfaith Council for the Homeless of Union County. He was ordained at Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati.

Rabbi Kroloff enjoys a special relationship with Rabbi Gluck and TBE. Rabbi Gluck served as an associate rabbi at Temple Emanu-El under Rabbi Kroloff. And Rabbi Kroloff’s son Micah and his family are TBE members.
