Three Sessions with Rabbi Diamondstein: Tuesdays, January 20 & 27 and February 3; 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
In this three-part series, we will examine Jewish Theology from a number of important angles, hopefully deepening our well of metaphor and imagery and broadening our horizons of faith and belief. We will find other options for understanding the Divine than the problematic classical depictions of the hyper-masculine, omniscient, omni-benevolent, omnipotent Creator who rewards the righteous and punishes the wicked. We will highlight a panoply of modern Jewish thinkers who have opened new pathways toward understanding God, beginning with thinkers from the mid-20th Century and ending with contemporary figures in Jewish thought. Register here. Feel free to register for one, two, or all three sessions!
