In this session, we will explore the history and meaning of the Yizkor service. We will ask: What are the ways that Jewish tradition teaches us to remember those we’ve lost? What are the roots of the Yizkor service?
We’ll also delve into some of the music in the Yizkor service which we use to find comfort and meaning in our observance of Yizkor at TBE. We’ll sing together and share a bit about what Yizkor means to each of us. All are welcome!
