Learn how our Reform movement in Israel is working to make Israeli society more pluralistic, inclusive, and equitable for all its inhabitants.

Anna Kislanski has served as Director General (CEO) of the Israel Movement for Reform and Progressive Judaism (IMPJ) since September 2021. A seasoned educator and community building specialist, Anna previously served as IMPJ Deputy Director General from 2010-2021. In this role, she oversaw the Movement’s Congregational and Educational initiatives, successfully expanding the network of Reform Congregations in Israel from 23 to 54 communities. As the Reform Movement’s Central Shlicha for the URJ (2005-2009), she was recognized by The Jewish Agency for Israel as their top professional Shaliach in 2006.

Her earlier positions include Curriculum Consultant for the Tel Aviv-Los Angeles Partnership’s School Twinning Program and Program Director at Congregation Or Hadash in Haifa, northern Israel’s largest Reform congregation. At MELITZ (The Institute for Jewish-Zionist Education), she developed educational programs for schools, youth, and educators as Program Director and Facilitator. She also served as a Facilitator for the MICHAEL Program and Training Director at the College of Management in Israel. Anna holds degrees in Middle Eastern Studies and Educational Counseling. Anna lives in Even Yehuda with her husband Arthur and their three children, where they are founding members of Kehillat HaShachar.
