When we think of “Safety and Security,” we often think of alarm systems, cameras, and security guards. However, the best first layer of safety and security is our community. It is every lay leader, staff member and congregant.
Please consider participating in our security training session on March 16 with the Hillsborough Police and our safety volunteers. The session is open to all, with a special emphasis for faculty, shomrim and lay leaders. This session will be held at TBE. The more aware and informed we are as a community, the better prepared we will be if something unexpected occurs.
Situational Awareness
Learn how to recognize suspicious or potentially dangerous behavior and threats, and what to do. We’ll cover the basics of situational awareness and how to help protect yourself, your family, and your community.
Countering an Active Threat
We’ll cover steps to take during an active threat event.
Standard Response Protocol
Learn the nomenclature and expected actions we use at TBE so you can respond during an emergency situation.
