Stephanie Weiss (she/her) joins our staff as the Youth and Community Engagement Associate but is not new to Temple Beth-El. Stephanie grew up at TBE herself and has seen first-hand the positive role youth programming can have on our community’s young people. Stephanie is passionate about creating welcoming and inclusive spaces for people of all ages to learn, connect, and flourish, all while growing their Jewish identity (and having fun doing it!)
Prior to joining Temple Beth-El’s full-time staff, Stephanie spent three years as a teacher in our religious school, while studying at Rutgers University. Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a certificate in child and adolescent well-being. She uses her educational background in social work coupled with her passion for social justice to inform her role on staff.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and traveling.
