torah small

Our Jewish Studies classes are held on Sunday mornings from 9:00am-11:00am for children in Pre-Kindergarten through grade six.

The Sunday School curriculum teaches the values of Torah, Avodah (Worship), and G’milut Chasadim (Acts of Loving Kindness) through a rich variety of classes, ranging from holidays to history, Israel, life cycle, Torah study, and Jewish ethics. Classes integrate formal and experiential learning models to facilitate a dynamic classroom environment.

  • Torah means continuous Jewish learning on a wide variety of subjects taught from Pre-K through Post-Confirmation and beyond.
  • Avodah (Worship) means engaging in worship experiences that connect us to God.
  • G’milut Chasadim (Acts of Loving Kindness) means fulfilling mitzvot and behaving in ways that connect us to all of God’s creation.

Each grade also participates in a family education program where students and their parents learn together with their instructors and rabbis. Throughout the year students participate in other special all-school holiday and community celebrations.

Parents provide volunteer support throughout the year on many Religious School projects and programs.
