As Director of Hebrew Education, Sarah Gluck supervises the Hebrew School for grades 3-7, oversees the adult Hebrew program and teaches adult Hebrew classes. Sarah also provides Hebrew resource support to the congregation as a whole.
Sarah has taught Hebrew for 25 years, in synagogues and day schools. She is passionate about Judaism and the Hebrew language and is warmly devoted to all her students.
Sarah earned her B.A. in Middle East Studies at Oberlin College, and M.A. and M.Philosophy degrees in Arabic Language and Middle East Studies at Columbia University. She studied for a year at The Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where she met her husband, Rabbi Arnie Gluck. Before coming to Temple Beth-El, they spent five years in Haifa, Israel. They are the proud parents of two daughters and proud grand-parents of one grand-daughter.
